2008 June 27: The Niagara fires its gun
The tall ship Niagara, on its way home after spending the weekend at Toronto’s tall ship event, fires its gun eastward. Golly but that was loud. If you were napping in one of the neighbouring condos, you’d have thought the Americans were back for part deux of the War of 1812.
